Scutul motor metalic pentru OPEL este confectionat din tabla de otel cu grosimea de 2-3 mm, protectie anticoroziva, vopsit in camp electrostatic. Scutul motor OPEL este perfect adaptat masinii, montarea fiind extrem de facila deoarece toate spatiile de prindere sunt deja prevazute pe caroserie de catre fabricantul masinii. Scutul motor OPEL are rolul de a proteja partea de dedesubt a masinii, baia de ulei, cutia de viteze si restul elementelor si accesoriilor suspuse factorilor externi care ar putea pune in pericol siguranta masinii. Scutul motor OPEL are fereastra de vizitare la motor, astfel ca schimbul de ulei se poate face fara ca scutul motor sa fie demontat.
